Qatar, UK sign air transport agreement


Civil aviation authorities in Qatar and the United Kingdom signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU)to enhance cooperation in air transport.

The MoU allows the national flag carriers of both countries to operate unlimited number of flights (passenger and cargo) between Doha and most British cities. The two sides also agreed to update some of the terms of the air transport agreement between them in line with the policies of modern global transport.

Chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Abdul Aziz Mohammed Al Nuaimi and head of civil aviation in the United Kingdom Mark Bosly signed the MoU.
