Michelle Messina, CEO of the international consulting and advisory firm Explora International, has commended the progress of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to Arab News after giving a lecture at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry here yesterday, she said: “SMEs in the Kingdom are strong and making speedy growth.”

Messina emphasized the importance of SMEs in creating more jobs for Saudis. “SMEs have a good future in the Kingdom.”

She said she had visited Riyadh and Dhahran and met with a number of successful entrepreneurs. “I was amazed by their success,” she said.

Messina attributed the success of Saudi entrepreneurs to their leadership qualities and spirit of initiative.

“SMEs in the Kingdom will have a bright future thanks to the country’s strong economy and abundant investment opportunities,” she said.
