SR 3 bn allocated for Tabuk projects

Some SR 3 billion has been allocated in the current financial year of 1434-35 for the implementation and completion of a series of infrastructure and utility services projects in Tabuk region.

The projects include construction of new highways and major and secondary roads at a cost of SR 789 million. A key road project completed was the fourth stage of the Tabuk-to-Madinah highway. The 30 km part of the highway in the Tabuk region cost SR 300 million, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Other road projects included the completion of the 25-km Taima-Oula Road and Tabuk-Dhaba road at a cost of SR 91 million and SR 90 million respectively.
