Women in Saudi Arabia are already permitted to work in public hospital pharmacies but according to a report by Arab News there is an oversupply of females graduating from university with pharmacy degrees compared to the number of jobs available to them.

The Saudi government is gradually opening up various occupations to women in a bid to reduce the country’s unemployment rate, which is more than 12 percent according to government figures released last week.
