The Sultanate's leading tourism-related development, hospitality management and investment company, Omran announced that it has passed the 60 per cent construction mark of its 2,000 metre hilltop luxury project, the Alila Jabal Akhdar Resort.
Set to open its doors in December 2013, the project is currently eight per cent ahead of schedule. Nasser Al Maqbali, Chief Operating Officer at Omran expressed his delight on the progress achieved on the project to date. He said that the Alila Jabal Akhdar Resort is set to become a pinnacle in the Sultanate's budding tourism sector and is expected to attract local, regional and international visitors.
Commenting on the progress, Al Maqbali said, "The planned construction of the Alila Jabal Akhdar Resort for this period was to complete 51.73 per cent. Today, we have successfully passed this target thanks to the efforts and dedication of our staff and contractors."
