Drake & Scull Qatar, a unit of Dubai contractor Drake & Scull International, won a QAR304m (US$83.5m) contract for a mixed use development project in Doha.
Work will cover substructure and superstructure works within a 260,000 sqm built-up area, containing three superblocks, housing, residential buildings, schools, utilities, offices and retail buildings, the company said in a regulatory filing.
"The development serves as one of our flagship projects in Qatar that strongly demonstrates the full spectrum of our service portfolio," said Karem Akawi, Drake & Scull Qatar's manager.
