Supercar rentals in the UAE are on the rise, driven in part by an increase in tourism due to the Arab Spring.
Dubai-based Al Fursan Rent a Car, which has a fleet of 50 supercars including Ferraris and Lamborghinis, has seen a rise in rentals in recent years.
In 2010, the company, which is taking part in the Auto Trader Live luxury car show this weekend in Dubai, rented out around 65 per cent of its fleet on average. But by the end of last year the figure had reached around 85 per cent.
Most of the company's customers are tourists, and its cars cost anything from Dh400 a day for a Peugeot RCZ up to Dh15,000 a day for a Lamborghini LP700 Aventador. It also has a Lamborghini LP570 super trofeo on its books - one of only 150 in the world, which costs Dh5,500 a day to rent.
