Majid Al Futtaim Finance has announced its collaboration with MasterCard to expand across key regional markets outside the UAE and introduce prepaid solutions to consumers in Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon and Oman.
A three year exclusive agreement that marked the launch of the collaboration was signed at a recently held ceremony at the MasterCard offices in Dubai, a joint statement said. The ceremony was attended by Rasool Hujair, CEO, Majid Al Futtaim Finance LLC and Raghu Malhotra, division president, Middle East and North Africa, MasterCard.
As part of the first phase of the programme, Majid Al Futtaim Finance LLC and MasterCard will jointly introduce Mall Gift Cardsavailable at Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ regional shopping malls including Alexandria City Centre in Egypt and Muscat City Centre in Oman, in addition to offering the MyNetCard, Just For You Gift Cards and Payroll Cards solutions. The MyNetCard and Just For You Gift Cards will be distributed across all Carrefour outlets in Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon and Oman and the Payroll cards will be distributed with the assistance of a Program Manager across those markets.
