DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Wednesday, adding 48.40 points (or 0.55%) to advance to 8,824.00 points from 8,775.60 on last day.
The volume of the shares traded up to 8,199,685 from 5,438,930 on last day and the value of shares increased to QR425,407,438.46 from QR260,144,203.96.
Among the top gainers were Commercial Bank of Qatar which was up 0.65% to QR77.50, Qatar Insurance rose 2.14% to QR71.50, Qatar Telecom gained 1.73% to QR117.40 and Masref Al Rayan up by 0.56% to QR27.00.
