DOHA: Managing and senior partners from KPMG Middle East and South Asia (MESA) held a
meeting here recently to discuss and review their strategy for the fastest growing economies in the region, with special focus on Qatar, a press statement issued by KPMG said yesterday.
MESA Chairman Jamal Fakhro said the high-level meeting held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel would enable the global professional services firm to review its operations in the region, including its strategy for growth and expansion.
“The Middle East and South Asia includes some of the world’s most dynamic growth markets,” said Fakhro, “It’s important KPMG continues to review and enhance its service offering in this important region.”
The quarterly strategy session brought together representatives from Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
This was the first time that the strategy session was held here in Qatar. Fakhro said it was appropriate that Doha was chosen as the venue.
