Retail outlets in the UAE would be soon required to issue invoices in both Arabic and English.
Dr Hashem Al Nuaimi, Director, Consumer Protection Department, Ministry of Economy, said the new regulations are being discussed and is awaiting approval by the higher committee. It is likely to be implemented on March 14, he added.
Meanwhile, all retail stores would also be required to have an Arabic-speaking employee.
