Dubai: Etisalat signed an agreement with Pacific Controls to offer unique machine-to-machine (M2M)-based technology across the telco’s footprint in 15 countries.
“The technology improves energy efficiency and reduces the carbon footprint of companies using M2M technology and mobile networks,” Khalifa Hassan Al Shamsi, chief digital services officer at the etisalat Group, said.
“It leverages M2M technology to deliver managed energy services and business intelligence in real time. This shows that how mobile and ICT can tangibly benefit the communities in which we live and work,” Al Shamsi said.
